Project Coordinator


Job Summary

The Project Coordinator will work with Sr. Project Management and the rest of the project team to help manage all aspects of glazing projects including, but not limited to, project procurement, schedule, budget, production monitoring, logistics and installation. 


Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in day-to-day project activities as required by Sr. Project Management

  • Assist in the preparation of estimates and value engineering analysis during the design process

  • Assist in the evaluation, analysis and selection of equipment, tools and rigging required to install curtainwall scopes

  • Review site safety plans and help communicate and administer specific requirements

  • Updates project documents    

  • Prepare and process submittals, RFI’s, shop drawings, substitution requests, change proposals, and purchase orders

  • Maintain project tracking logs for % complete, change orders, RFIs, submittals, site deliveries and critical material shipments

  • Maintain Project Status Reports and participate in weekly internal project status meetings

  • Review material takeoffs for accuracy and completeness

  • Review and coordinate field and shop requirements for product crating/packaging

  • Create plans and drawings for field logistics such as crating plans, installation sequence diagrams and field equipment layouts

  • Review shop drawings and coordinate critical aspects of details with production and installation teams

  • Help provide solutions and field fix documentation for execution and As-Built drawings

  • Coordinate schedules and deliveries with field installation team and general contractor as required

  • Coordinate all aspects of project Quality Control; develop, track, update and report on the contract quality control and assurance system

  • Attend weekly site Contractor Meeting as required

  • Supervises punch list at project end


Education and Experience

  • Four-year degree in a construction management, civil engineering or related degree from a college or university

  • A minimum of 1-2 years of related work experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


Technical skills

  • General knowledge and understanding of blueprints

  • Proficiency in MS Office programs. 

  • Working knowledge of Bluebeam, Smartsheet and/or Microsoft Project is preferred
